Girl Tech Report 2010-2015
For the past six years Media Literacy Project has run a program for young women of color in Albuquerque called Girl Tech. This year-long program combines leadership skill building with media production training. Girl Tech includes training on media justice, reproductive justice, storytelling, and video making.
This brief report captures how the program impacted the 31 participants over these six years through stories, quotes, photos, and graphics. This report also features what the youth participants learned and accomplished during their program year and how what they learned stayed with them over the years.
