New Mexico Digital Justice Coalition

The New Mexico Digital Justice Coalition is comprised of people and organizations in New Mexico who believe that media should connect our communities culturally, politically, and technologically. We believe that communication is a fundamental human right and build strategic partnerships to ensure that our respective constituencies can participate fully in the creation of media policy.

The coalition consists of 14 local organizations that are committed and engaged in media justice work. Coalition members include: Quote…Unquote, Young Women United, Generation Justice, Encuentro, SouthWest Organizing Project, La Plazita Institute, El Centro de Igualdad y Derechos, UNM’s Raza Graduate Student Association, UNM’s LGBTQ Resource Center as well as other local media justice advocates.
