Fierce Pride
Fierce Pride is a community-led project working to reduce health disparities in the lesbian, gay, bisexual, two-spirit, transgender, queer, questioning, and intersex communities in New Mexico. Our mission is to advance the well-being of queer people in New Mexico.
Fierce Pride was founded in 2003 as part of Stop Tobacco on My People (STOMP), and moved to the Media Literacy Project in 2009. We provide LGBTQI tobacco cessation classes, offer LGBTQI cultural competency trainings, table at community events (including various Pride events across the state), provide information at conferences, and network with other LGBTQI and health organizations around the state and nation.
Fierce Pride is always seeking new volunteers. If you are LGBTQI or an ally, we would love to have you join us!
Fierce health for our fierce selves!
