For several years, the National Hispanic Media Coalition has been tracking hate crimes against Latinos. Now, in partnership with the Department of Justice’s National Institute of Justice, they are conducting a report on the underlying causes of hate crimes against Latinos and immigrants.

A recent FBI report reveals Latinos and the LGTBQ community as the most likely victims of hate motivated crimes. As irresponsible media outlets profit off of the hate speech that fuels this intolerance, there is a movement to protect our families and children from this violence.
