Children and adults need media literacy tools to be able to analyze the media and marketing messages that engulf us, from advertisements, to video games, to films, and more. Irresponsible messaging can put limits on how communities see themselves and are seen by others. We encourage everyday people to deconstruct media and make informed choices.

We work hard against race-baiting of immigrants and people of color in current political debates.  Our work doesn’t stop at confronting harmful media representations and messages. We also work in coalition with local and national groups to create and adopt policies that reflect the needs of communities who are most targeted by ad campaigns and marketing lies.
